SHE Pre-Qual

SHE Pre-Qual is a Tōtika member scheme, which means it can assess you against the Tōtika standard. It also runs prequalification products of its own, under its own brand, which are separate from Tōtika.

That is the thing to get right before you pay. If your client asked for Tōtika, you need SHE's Tōtika assessment - not one of the others. They have different requirements and they are not interchangeable.

Who asks for it

Clients who have told you to get prequalified through SHE, and clients who accept Tōtika and don't mind which member scheme you use.

How you're assessed

You complete the assessment for the product you have been asked for and upload your evidence, and SHE's assessors review it.

If you are going through the Tōtika route, your category and the criteria you are measured against are set by Tōtika, not by SHE. Our Tōtika page explains how the categories work and which one you are likely to fall into.

What we do

First we check which SHE product your client has actually asked for, so you are not paying for the wrong assessment. Then we write the policies and procedures you're missing and rebuild the ones that aren't earning their keep - so they describe how your crew really works, rather than how a template says they should. Get that right and the assessment largely looks after itself; get it wrong and you've got a folder nobody opens.

Records and certificates come from you - we tell you exactly which ones and chase them up if that helps. We get everything loaded and ready, you hit submit, and we answer the assessor's follow-up questions.

Health and safety law is changing over the next couple of years, and we're keeping across it so your system stays current.

We're not an assessor and we're not connected to any scheme. We can't influence the outcome, and nobody honestly can guarantee a result.
