Emergency Plans

Hi Everyone,

Following the tragic events of Friday afternoon, as a team we have been thinking of our Christchurch clients, friends, family and all those who have been affected.
We whole heartedly agree that this kind of act and those who commit it, have no place in our country, or any other.

Unfortunately it is also after such events, that from a Health and Safety viewpoint, we all must review our emergency plans. In this case, for a situation many of us never imagined having to face.

We know a number of you have started this process already. To help, we have collated some links to free factsheets, templates and planning tools that will assist you.

It is also important that we ensure we look after ourselves and others, including our team members who may be struggling. We all respond and recover from emergencies differently. If you or someone you know needs mental wellbeing support or advice, please call or txt 1737 anytime, day or night, to talk to a trained counsellor.

As always, we are here to help, so please touch base if you need us.

From my team and I, to you and yours - look after each other and stay safe.

Angie Williams - Director, OSHbox.
